Possible Incident that can occur when tries to
canvas the credit card through the phone, this
below incident described truly
One day when I was thinking on what to write for
next week article I just get the call from
Credit Card Company.
"Our Company Ready to complete your
application," the woman told me. "We just need
to ask you a couple more questions."
This makes me stuck. Because am sure that for
the couple of years I didn’t apply for the
credit card. It’s not like that even I did not
even to get a free mug or Bat a ball with my
favorite cricket football or baseball team
imprinted on it...
Suddenly I said”No I didn’t apply for a card”
Then the woman "Well, you were recommended to
us,"
This is the small conversation happened between
telemarketer and myself. But in this there is
underline story how credit card companies going
to attract the potential customers and why they
use such methods
What does it mean By “Good Fit” for a credit
card?
Of course there can be good fit to the college,
a job or even a sweatshirt. Actually when it
comes to the good fit to the Credit Card, it
means truly. The fact that customer has desire
to buy things and often must act upon those
desires in order to live. Rather than saying
good fit to give the credit card, when they call
to someone to give him or her credit card, the
company must be careful to cater the
trustworthiness of the customer. If company will
not create this first image on customer, they
will think that with taking the credit card from
the mentioned credit card company and they will
not pay the outstanding properly.
The Family business, one person is owed to
settle the Credit Card but unable to settle this
responsibility is goes to the other cardholders
also in the family.
In this case when canvassing the credit card
through the phone (Telemarketing) company must
focus on the following;
1. Don’t tell anyone that he or she is
a good fit unless and all that the person tries
on the credit card beforehand, at which point
the card is probably so stretched out that it no
longer works.
2. As a telemarketer, if you tell a
person he or she was recommended by someone, be
sure to mention of the name at the moment as a
recommendation-Giver. In sometime it may seem to
like a fake. But for the time being it will mean
to something for call receiver.
3. Without saying like you are applied
for a credit card use some snappy attracting
word like “We're trying to give you credit,
dude!” of course this may take away the
professionalism of the phone call, but on the on
other hand, everyone likes to be called "dude."
And some of us even like credit.
